NADS assets for sale
concern.
A spokesman for accountancy firm Kempe and Whittle, acting as receivers for the computer firm, confirmed yesterday that the company would not be sold, but the assets would instead be liquidated.
Assets include the leasehold of the company premises, office furniture, computers and parts and other inventory.
North Atlantic Data Services represented troubled American manufacturer Wang.
According to Kempe and Whittle, there has been no discussion about the future of the dealership.
The receivers invited North Atlantic Data Services' major customers to make bids for the goods. The outstanding stock will be sold at a sale next week, said the Kempe & Whittle spokesman.
The company's engineers will "remain in place'' to attend to customers' computer problems, said the spokesman.
