Butterfield Bank offfers help to entrepreneurs to better manage and expand businesses

Butterfield Bank is offering free information sessions to entrepreneurs interested in learning how to better manage and expand their businesses.

Four sessions will be held on Wednesday, hosted by a team of professionals at the bank's Reid Street, Rosebank, St. George's and Somerset branches.

Business Banking head Taiwo (Tee) Ogunyemi, Business Banking manager Lucy Mello and Retail Business Development managers Paul Elliott and Stephen Todd will perform demonstrations and provide entrepreneurs with information and practical advice highlighting the bank's products and services that can aid success.

As explained by Mr. Ogunyemi, the purpose of the sessions is "to better inform entrepreneurs about how Butterfield Bank can help their businesses".

"We are already taking care of a significant number of small businesses on the island," he said. "We wish to remind small businesses of the services they may be missing out on, especially at our full-service St. George's and Somerset branches."

Lending advice and information about merchant services, Internet banking and business credit cards will be available. There will also be practical demonstrations on how to devise winning business plans and an accountant will be at each branch to help customers with the preparation of financial statements.

Entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to win three free months of 'Swipe on the Go' portable credit card processing.

The event is being held simultaneously at all four branches, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28.
