Ms Jones was previously employed in the Registrar of Companies as a Technical Officer and Trainee Manager Designate, Registration and Taxation.

She has a LLB Honours degree from Kent University, UK, and a BA Honours degree in Economics from York University, Canada. As a legislative assistant Ms Jones will be responsible for reviewing legislation, regulations and policy as they relate to international business. She will also provide advice and recommendations to the Ministry of Finance.

The new office for the Internet payment processing company will provide more room for the company and allow for future expansion, the company said.

Mrs. Bassett took up the post on January 15, 2001 and has 23 years' experience in this field.

She has moved from the post of vice president, customer relations and sales for BF&M Life.

She is a Master Fellow and Associate in Customer Service of the Life Management Institute.

In her new position Mrs. Bassett will be responsible for sales and customer relations and will be assuming day to day overall responsibility for BF&M Life.

She will report directly to BF&M's President and CEO, Glenn Titterton.

*** Ernst & Young has announced three Bermudians have passed their CPA exams, Suzanne Mendonca , Deanna Harvey and Joanne Rebello .

Ms Mendonca was originally a summer student at Ernst & Young while studying at university and joined the company after graduating.

Ms Harvey is a staff accountant at Ernst & Young and is a graduate of Bermuda College.

Ms Rebello joined Ernst & Young in June 1999 as a staff accountant.
