Registration for college courses end tomorrow
programme courses began this week at the US Naval Base in St. David's.
Registration for the courses, which will begin next Monday and end the week of June 29, will be held through to tomorrow.
This term, University of Maryland is offering Principles of Economics II, Money and Banking, Standard English Grammar, History of the US to 1865, and Psychology of Adjustment.
Certificate and degree programmes up to bachelors are offered and course credits are transferable to other American schools or count as residency credits.
Most courses, which run 6.30 to 9.30 p.m. twice a week, are held at the air station, while one is at the Navy Annex.
University of Maryland is also registering for a special summer term, July 6 to 31, when Cross-Cultural Psychology, and Psychology of Sex Roles, and Breaking Into Leadership courses will be offered.
City Colleges of Chicago is offering Report Writing, Intermediate Algebra, Introduction to Oceanography, Introduction to Data Processing, Microcomputer Applications for Business, Industrial Management and Intermediate Accounting.
Business and Professional Speech will be offered at the Annex in Southampton.
