People who will be travelling on July 24 are still able to vote in the advance poll on July 17 but first must receive a certificate from the Parliamentary Registrar as proof of travel on Election Day.

"Certificates for the advance poll will be issued from July 14 to July 17 and people who are travelling must either bring in their airline ticket or a letter from the travel agent or airlines stating the days of travel along with a valid identification," Sabrina Philips the Parliamentary Registrar said.

Ms Philips also said Bermudians in hospitals and homes for the elderly or sick with more than five patients can participate and the polling station will come to the institution.

For those people who do not live in homes containing more than five patients they can also make use of the advanced polling systems but must first receive a certificate from the Chief Medical Officer.
