Thursday deadline for this month’s RBR Recruit Camp
The application deadline for the Royal Bermuda Regiment’s next recruit camp is on Thursday, the Ministry of National Security said today.
Anyone who wants to sign up should contact Warwick Camp for an interview before the deadline.
The recruit training camp takes place from February 14 to 27.
Renee Ming, the national security minister, said: “Over the last year, the men and women of the RBR have performed admirably during a busy hurricane season, on the water as part of the coastguard and of course during the pandemic, supporting Bermuda's Covid-19 response.
“Those who serve have said it's an enriching and fulfilling experience and we encourage any interested Bermudians to please contact the RBR to find out how they can be a part of this dynamic team."
Service with the Royal Bermuda Regiment is voluntary and requires a three year commitment.
Soldiers serve for a total of one month a year and take part in a two week camp, usually overseas.
