A burst of trading in Bank of Bermuda stocks accounted for nearly all of the three quarters of a million dollars traded on Thursday on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The bank gained 15 cents to close at $44.15, selling 16,600 shares. No other stocks changed price.

As a result, the index closed up 4.71 points or 0.18 percent at 2,629.33 on a volume of 16,650 worth $733,890.
