Police win in Toronto
Toronto where they ran away with honours in a 24-kilometre relay on Sunday.
Eddie Davies, Peter Morgan, Simon Groves and Steve Donnelly completed the Metro Honda Dealers Corporate Relay in one hour and 21 minutes, over three minutes faster than the second-placed finishers.
The race, which contained 310 teams, started unfortunately for Police as opening runner Davies was knocked down and trampled over within the first 100 yards.
But he recovered superbly to finish his six-kilometre leg in seventh place.
Morgan then took the Bermuda team to first place in the second leg with Groves and Donnelly consolidating their winning position thereafter.
Morgan was a replacement for Greg Hopkins from the quartet that won the Gazette Relay back on March 22. Hopkins was busy on Sunday winning one of the most closely-contested Bermuda Triathlons ever.
