Bermuda is one of several destinations Louisiana born R&B and reggae artist Love Truly will visit during a promotional tour later this year.

The father of three is due to arrive in Bermuda accompanied by his Jamaican publicist, Raumialkebulan, sometime between late May and early June to begin promoting his debut album entitled ‘Truly Love’.

“I am really blessed to be able to travel like this and definitely blessed with so many people loving my music,” the artist told The Royal Gazette. “Bermuda has always been a place I want to visit. It is beautiful and I cannot wait to see Hamilton, St George’s, Pink Beach and all the different places I have always wanted to go to. It’s a lovely place.”

He added: “Right now it’s been all about promoting Love Truly: getting my name out what I am all about and what Love Truly stands for. And it is truly a movement to bringing good, wholesome music out there and connecting with artist that are doing positive things. I think we owe the public to do something positive, and I want to connect with people that want to do positive things. That’s what Love Truly is all about.”

Several months ago the 44- year-old artist did some recording in Jamaica with Alex Marley, son of late reggae star Bob Marley, regarded by many as the king of the genre.

“I connected with Alex Marley and we actually did a song together called ‘I Look Forward’ and gained a lot of momentum and attention from the song,” said Love Truly, whose real name is Harvey Goods. “I was in Jamaica in November and I went again in January this year and it was my first time going to the Caribbean and I absolutely loved it.”

Other destinations on the artist’s upcoming promotional tour include Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Greneda, the United Kingdom and Europe.

He is also scheduled to return to Jamaica to work on several collaborations with some of the biggest names in the reggae industry such as Gyptian, Tarrus Riley, Freddie MacGregor, Lutan Fyah and Half Pint.”

“I will be doing some recording with some very well known artists and I thank God for the opportunity,” he said.

Love Truly grew up in the US south listening to reggae greats such Freddie MacGregor, Marley and Jimmy Cliff.

“What I love about reggae music is the sound and beat,” he said. “It is such a rich sound and the music is positive.”
