Gonzalo can’t tame show

The show must go on! Neither Hurricane Gonzalo, nor the cancellation of The 2014 Bermuda Schools Shakespeare Festival could stop the Somersfield players from performing their comedic rendition of the timeless battle of the sexes, The Taming of the Shrew.
In the spirit of the IB, and its student-centred learning focus, this year’s Somersfield Shakespeare Festival contribution was analysed, directed, and performed by the M4 Language and Literature class as their first course of study of the academic year.
The students’ dedication and perseverance paid off, as they were able to highlight their talents to a large audience at Somersfield Academy on Friday, October 24, 2014.
