Special park and ride service for Cup Match fans

Motorists can leave their car and take the free bus to the ground.Parking will also be available at Mullet Bay Park, Wellington and Penno's Wharf while additional space will be laid on at the Kindley Community Field.

Parking will also be available at Mullet Bay Park, Wellington and Penno's Wharf while additional space will be laid on at the Kindley Community Field.

However motorists will be barred from leaving their vehicles at the Temporary Bus Terminal opposite Old Vinnie's Store on Mullet Bay Road.

The game will start at 10 a.m. on both Thursday and Friday with players stopping for lunch between 1 p.m. and 1.45 p.m.

Those wanting to have a little gambling can visit the Crown and Anchor tables between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. each day.

On Thursday stumps will be drawn at 7.30 p.m. while on Friday if the match is still in the balance at 6.30 p.m. a final 20 overs will be played.

A Soca concert follows at 8.30 p.m. and ends at midnight.

A presentation will be made to former Cup Match players at 9 a.m. on Thursday and Governor Thorold Masefield is expected to attend the match both days.
