The match was played in wet and slippery conditions but the Bermuda side, supported by a solid back row of Alvin Harvey, Dave Taylor and Adrian Smith, handled creditably.

Captain Sean Field opened the scoring when he stormed over from close range and Alan Oliver converted.

Danny Cozens made the score 12-0 at the half when he carried three Caribs over the line on his back.

Second-half tries came from winger Matt Gorman, who scored from 50 yards out after collecting his own kick-ahead, and centre Pat Jones, who followed his own kick along the touch-line. Oliver converted the second try.

The Barbarians, who finished the match with 14 men as Shane DeMille left the field with an ankle injury, now prepare for the Caribbean Sevens, which will be held over the weekend.
