Stewart Cink did more than win the Open Championship. He also earned his first trip to the PGA Grand Slam of Golf in Bermuda, where he will be joined by the winners of the other three majors.

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida (PGA) - Stewart Cink, who prevailed in a four-hole playoff against Tom Watson to win the 183rd Open Championship at Turnberry, captured the third spot in the most difficult tournament in the world to qualify for - the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, which will be contested October 20-21 at Bermuda’s Port Royal Golf Course.

Cink coolly drained a 15-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole of regulation to get in the clubhouse at 2-under 278. When Watson bogeyed the closing hole a few minutes later, the two headed for a four-hole aggregate playoff. Cink easily prevailed in the playoff to earn his first major title.
