Long Botham Boats, the company that holds Henry VIII Pub & Restaurant, led declines plunging $1 to close at $2 on volume of 500.
Bermuda Home was down 50 cents at $7.50 on volume of 1,455 while Telco closed down 50 cents at $35.50 on volume of 5,246.
Bank of Bermuda, the largest constituent of the index, declined 25 cents closing at $18.75 on volume of 6,020. The bank's 9% sub. cap. nts. 2001 closed 25 cents below par at $100.25 on volume of 2,800 units worth $281,400.
Argus closed at $10.50, down 25 cents, on volume of 8,445.
Masters declined 25 cents closing at $4.50 on volume of 9,572.
Belco closed down 12.5 cents at $19.375 on volume of 6,049 while Bermuda Aviation Services declined 12.5 cents to close at $3.50 on volume of 1,746.
Bank of Butterfield closed up 12.5 cents at $9.375 on volume of 11,810.
The only other gainer, BF&M preferred, advanced 25 cents to close at $8.75 on volume of 897.
Issues closing unchanged were; Staples, $9, 2,263 and Bermuda Commercial Bank, $5.375, 3,950.
Total share volume was 57,953 worth $729,421.64.
Total value of trading was $1,010,822.
