Bank back girls? soccer clinic

A new Bank of Bermuda Pro Soccer Clinic has been introduced for young female footballers keen on elevating their game to a higher level.

The clinic will run from August 14 to 18 with space available for 120 females from the ages of six to 18. Participants will be taught by qualified coaches and experienced players including MISL pro David Bascome and assistant coach for Georgetown University women?s soccer team and member of the US women?s national team Tammy Pearman among others.

?Exposing our young female players to this level of coaching at a young age will provide them with the opportunity to accelerate their development and introduce them to the professional environment of women?s football,? stated Bascome.

The week-long clinic ? to be held at the Bermuda College field ? will consist of daily two-hour evening sessions focusing on all aspects of the game, as well as health and fitness issues.
