Bermuda’s Eva Frazzoni and her partner D’Jeri Raymond, of Antigua, won the girls’ doubles final at the Under-13 Caribbean Championships in Suriname yesterday.Frazzoni and Raymond defeated the host players Anouk Ma-a-Jong and Anjali Ramhit 6-2, 6-1.In singles action, Frazzoni, playing her final match, went down 6-3, 6-1, against Ma-a-Jong.Frazzoni and her partner D’Jeri Raymond, of Antigua, defeated Sharienne Ricardo of the Netherlands Antilles and Carisa Rodulfo of Trinidad and Tobago 6-2, 6-2 on Thursday.In the semi-final, they beat Shaeda Nickle of Jamaica and Ashley Poulina of Aruba, 6-2, 6-2.In the girls’ singles, Frazzoni was beaten 6-3, 6-3 by Antigua’s D’jer Raymond and will now compete for third place.Both Nick Lines and William Way notched up victories and both in straight sets in their respective boy’s singles matches yesterday. Lines advanced over Andrew Symonds of Barbados 6-3, 6-4, while Way beat Sebastian Cyrus of St. Vincent 6-1, 6-4.In their final matches tomorrow, Lines will take on Jelani Davidson of Trinidad to decide the fifth and sixth position, while Way will take on Yigal Bergen of Suriname to compete for the 13th and 14th positions.Bermuda, the defending champions, are being coached by Jerome Bradshaw.
