Cricketers in pre-season shuffle
that in soccer, Bermuda Cricket Board of Control have confirmed some pre-season moves by players.
So far nine players from now defunct Nationals have switched to new clubs, three being approved and six others pending transfer forms. Those approved are Bruce Perinchief to Bailey's Bay, Jason Lewis to St. George's and Kelvin Charles to PHC.
Brian Morris is planning to move to Willow Cuts while Hoyt Zuill is heading back to Warwick along with Anthony Francis. James Thomas is linked with a move to Flatts while Alleyne Francis and Roderick Masters are joining Hamilton Parish who have returned to the league.
One of the most prominent transfers is that of Dale Fox who has been approved for a move from St. David's to league champions Western Stars. Those two teams meet in their season opening match on Sunday.
Desmond Crockwell is leaving St. David's to return to Bailey's Bay while Anthony Bascome is hoping to join Cleveland and John Pitcher is going to St.
George's, pending payment of the transfer fee.
Del Hollis is leaving Cleveland for St. David's while Chris Caisey is leaving Devonshire Rec. to return to Hamilton Parish. Willow Cuts have picked up Charles Swan of Somerset and Nigel Woods and Alfred Carter will join PHC pending payment. Brian Gibbons is transferring from Somerset Bridge to Willow Cuts who also have Garrick Williams hoping to join them. Allan Wilkinson and Trent Lightbourne are rejoining Warwick, pending payment, from Willow Cuts and Police respectively while Philip Burgess wants to go back to Hamilton Parish.
