Dillas shares fourth after opening round
Jarryd Dillas is tied for fourth place after the first round of the Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego.
The Bermudian, competing in the Boys 15-17 division, fired a first round 73 - one of nine players to card the same score.
Chris Freeman of San Diego and fellow Californian Brian Ward lead the way after finishing their round with a score of 69. Sean Harlingten is second on 70, while four other players carded 72.
Dillas' compatriot, Tyler Marshall, is further down the leaderboard in a group on 78.
Ebonie Burgess, meanwhile, competing in the Girls 15 to 17 division, shot 85 in her opening round. Leader Hannah Jun of San Diego shot 71 for a one stroke advantage at the top.
In the Boys 13-14 division, Bermuda's Mark Phillips fired an 84 and Blair Marshall 86 in first round action. Henry Han of China leads the way on 68, one shot ahead of Alexander Sitompul of Indonesia.
