24 with semi final wins on Wednesday night.
It will be the second straight trip to the final for Police who were beaten last year by Old Colony Club.
Two weeks ago Second Division team St. George's surprised Police 4-1 in a league match but Police got revenge with a 3-1 win over the east enders in the knockout. Andy Wright started things off for Police, making breaks of 20, 17 and 14 in beating Jan Winch 81-31.
Timmy Carr then put Police up by two after beating William Peniston 58-32.
Reginald (Honky) Burrows kept the St. George's hopes alive with a 60-20 victory over Rick Clarke but Tony Lambert settled it by beating Timmy Hayward 76-28.
Nationals had no trouble getting by Sandys Sports Club 3-0. Tony DeSilva beat his nephew Zane 69-28 in the first frame, making an 18-break.
Tyler Moniz beat Roger `Sticks' Henderson 74-49 in the second and then Paul Charleton thrashed Timmy Pedro 58-6 to eliminate Sandys.
All four Queens Club players involved in the preliminary round of this year's Four Star Pizza Open advanced to the round of 32 which will be held on February 16.
In a matchup between the 1991 champion and 1992 runner-up, Greg Falzone, and Henderson, the former prevailed as he came out with a 30-break to win the first frame 79-2 but then had to pot the black to take the second.
Stephen Roberts made a 32-break in a 2-0 victory over David Woodhead. Other Queens Club winners were Tony McWilliam 2-0 over Alan Simons and Graham Williams 2-1 over former champion Terry Southern.
Southern led by six points in the third frame but was hurt by some unfortunate `in-offs' with only the pink and black left. Ultimately the game ended up tied and Williams won on the re-spotted black.
Other preliminary round action saw former champion Lawrence DeSilva beat David Lampitt 2-0, Robert Gaglio 2-0 over David DeSilva and Dennis Eve 2-1 over J.R.Robinson.
Gary Skinner beat Renaldo Bean 2-0 and Timmy Pedro won by default over Andy Peniston. The match between Dave McLean and Mike Tatem will be played on Thursday.
