Man admits privacy offence

A Hamilton Parish man has admitted to communicating with two children in an attempt to gain unlawful carnal knowledge, and intruding on their privacy.
Christopher Corday, 22, also pleaded guilty to a further count of intruding on the privacy of a child.
Prosecutor Susan Mulligan told Magistrates’ Court this morning Corday approached the girls, who ranged between the ages of 12 and 17, between the months of May and July this year.
Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner ordered a psychological evaluation and Social Inquiry Report.
Corday will be sentenced on January 16.
