FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12: A man was arrested tonight after a bag of money was snatched from a security guard at TCD.

A Police spokesman said: “At 4.42pm a robbery took place in the TCD parking lot as a money bag was snatched from a security officer. The suspect was apprehended and the bag is in the process of being recovered as the suspect threw the bag in the marsh. Enquiries are on-going.”

It is understood no weapons were involved.
