Four men were yesterday accused of conspiring to smuggle up to $250,000 worth of cannabis.Pembroke residents Psanto Eve, 20, and Dahlano Simons, 23 denied the charges in Magistrates’ Court as did Royunde Stevens Cyrus, 22, of Paget, and Jahkio Williams, 23, of Southampton.It was alleged the four conspired to import the drugs with 26-year-old Shanae Vanderpool, each other, and others not before the court, between a date unknown and December 21, 2010.Vanderpool was sentenced to two years behind bars in January after she admitted smuggling cannabis here from Canada.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner remanded the men into custody. They are scheduled to return to court on April 13.
