A 58-year-old Pembroke man has been jailed for 30 days for stealing liquor.Gary Dillas was spotted concealing a bottle of Hennessy in his clothing by the manager of Lindo’s supermarket in Devonshire.He admitted the March 29 offence when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner sentenced him to 30 days’ imprisonment, noting that Dillas had two previous convictions for theft.Mr Warner also imposed a second 30-day sentence, to run concurrently, for an unpaid fine of $1,000 for stealing.
