Police issued an appeal last night for the public's help in finding an escapee.

Gilroy Perott slipped from officer's observation while at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital around 6.40 p.m.

Perott is described as a brown skinned man, between five feet seven inches and five feet nine inches tall and is "medium framed".

The 36-year-old had his hair in braids before he escaped from lawfull custody

Anyone with information on Perott's whereabouts are asked to contact Supt. Larry Smith or Det. Con. Jason Smith at 295-0011.
