A female tourist was assaulted by a 300 pound woman in a St. George's bar early yesterday morning, Police reported.

The Pacific Princess passenger received lacerations to her chin and forehead when she was attacked by the unidentified female for no apparent reason at the Tavern on the Sea at around 2 a.m.

When officers arrived, the victim said the woman had hit her repeatedly when they met near the restroom facilities.

She described her attacker as a black female, between 25 and 30 years old, five foot eight inches in height, approximately 300 pounds with light coloured braided hair.
