This year’s National Heroes will be honoured at a ceremony on Sunday at the Show Ring of the Botanical Gardens.The ceremony will honour the achievements of Dr Edgar Fitzgerald Gordon, Sir Henry James Tucker and Dr Roosevelt Brown.Entertainment will include performances specifically in honour of the three new National Heroes. There will be involvement from uniformed youth groups, schools and the Bermuda Regiment.The National Heroes Day official public holiday will be observed on Monday. Celebrations on Sunday will start at 6pm.* Later this week The Royal Gazette will be featuring a special website page on this year’s National Heroes.
