Government backbencher Glenn Algernon Blakeney will stand trial on March 27 for allegedly assaulting ZBM reporter Gary Moreno on the First Day of Cup Match.

The Hott 107.5 radio station president was released on $1,000 bail after he denied hitting Mr. Moreno. After a few attempts to set a court date which would work for everyone involved March 24 was chosen, however Blakeney alerted the court that he would have to be at the House of Assemble that day.

The 50-year-old ? who lives on Stovell Bay Road, Pembroke, was represented by lawyer Delroy Duncan.
