Award winning composer to be a judge at BIFF

Emmy-award winning composer Jim Dooley will be one of the judges in this year's BIFF festival, it was announced yesterday.

Mr Dooley, who received his first Emmy Award in 2008 for Best Original Music Composition for a Series, ABC's Pushing Daisies, will be joined by director Jim Fall (Trick and The Lizzy McGuire Movie), media professional JoJo Dye, head of marketing and PR at Ealing Film Studios, S.T. VanAirsdale, senior Editor at Movieline and Bermuda College professor Dr. Sajni Tolaram.

They are charged with the duty of deciding the winning films in three categories: Best Narrative Feature, Best Documentary, and the Bermuda Shorts Award.

BIFF starts on Friday and tickets are available online from www.bdatix.bm, or from the following box office centres: BIFF Box Office, 15 Front Street, Hamilton (opposite HSBC), the iStore, 46 Reid Street, Hamilton, and, Fabulous Fashions, Heron Bay Plaza, Southampton.

The BIFF Box Office is open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and, for the iStore and Fabulous Fashions, their normal opening hours apply.
