Bermudian singer and songwriter Heather Nova appeared on BBC News recently, discussing her new album and growing up on a boat in Island.During an appearance on February 31, the musician said: “We lived on the boat. It was our home.”“It was an amazing adventure and I think that what it really gave me was perspective and not just perspective on the different way people live, but when you’re out there in the middle of the sea, you are very much brought to the realisation that you are completely insignificant.”She also mentioned that her latest album, ‘300 Days at Sea’, was recorded at a solar powered studio at her home in Bermuda.“Our entire home is solar powered,” she said. “We set that up a few years ago. We did record more in daylight than I’m used to.”
