Teenager hurt in bike crash

A teenage girl was injured when her bike and a car collided.At 8.30 a.m. on Thursday, Police were called to an accident at the junction of South Road and Brighton Hill Road, in Devonshire, involving the car and bike.Police said it appeared the car was travelling east on South Road and the auxiliary cycle was travelling south on Brighton Hill Road when they collided at the junction.

At 8.30 a.m. on Thursday, Police were called to an accident at the junction of South Road and Brighton Hill Road, in Devonshire, involving the car and bike.
Police said it appeared the car was travelling east on South Road and the auxiliary cycle was travelling south on Brighton Hill Road when they collided at the junction.
The rider of the cycle, a 17-year-old Devonshire woman, sustained a laceration to her forehead and bruising to her right knee. She was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment and later released.
The driver of the car, a 79-year-old Devonshire man, was not injured.
