Firefighters battle Somerset blaze

Firefighters rushed to a Somerset home last night only to find that the residents had extinguished most of the blaze.
Fire Service spokesman Lt. Dana Lovell told that the fire broke out in the kitchen of the home, which is located on the junction of Beacon Hill and Scott?s Hill Road.
The Fire Service received the call from the homeowners at 8.18 p.m. and sent two vehicles to the scene. Shortly after 9 p.m. the five firefighters got the blaze under control. Two firefighters were required to wear breathing apparatus.
