Division with an 8-0 pounding of hapless Paget at PHC Stadium.

The Bluebirds showed their intentions early on with Dean Young and George Liburd scoring within the first 10 minutes.

But stout defending from Paget frustrated the favourites who could only net once more through Liburd (41st minute) for a three-goal lead at the half.

In the second half, however, Social Club laid seige on the Paget goal and scored five times in a 19-minute span.

Randy Spence tallied in the 55th minute, followed by Rembert Hill (60th), Liburd (63rd), Larry Darrell (68th) and Young (74th).

The final minutes resulted in a comedy of misses, which could prove costly if the Bluebirds finish the season level on points with Somerset Eagles, their chief rivals for the second promotion spot.

Prospect 10 Ham. Parish 3 Dwayne Leverock smashed four goals and Andrew Bissell three as Prospect romped to the Second Division's biggest win of the season on a day when a season-high 32 goals came from the four matches.

Prospect had a good start with Bissell opening the scoring in the sixth minute. Hamilton Parish equalised in the 15th minute through Donovan Thompson Leverock made it 2-1 in the 30th before Bissell scored again in the 35th.

Kenneth Bartrum further increased the Prospect lead to 4-0 in the 36th and Leverock added his second in the 38th minute. Devrae Hollis scored a second Parish goal in the 43rd minute to make it 5-2 at the half.

The home team kept the goals piling in in the second half as both Leverock and Bissell completed their hat-tricks. John Richmond scored the first of his two goals in the 50th minute before Leverock scored his third and fourth of the match in the 60th and 65th minutes.

Bissell completed his treble 15 minutes from the end and Richmond closed out the scoring in the 89th after Thompson had pulled another goal back for Parish in the 84th minute, his second of the match.

Som. Eagles 6, Port Royal 1 Second-placed Somerset Eagles maintained their push for the second promotion spot with this convincing win at White Hill field.

Clarkie Riley opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Everett Wellman made it 2-0 in the 24th with the first of his two goals. Oscar Riley hit the third in the 26th before Wellman and Terrence Christopher made it 5-0 at the half with two late goals.

Troy Simmons pulled a goal back for Port Royal in the 70th minute but Christopher restored the five-goal Eagles lead with his second goal of the game nine minutes from the end.

Southampton 4, Wolves 0 Champions Rangers picked up their 14th win in 15 matches with this win over Wolves which took their points tally to 29, leaving them still unbeaten in the league and with just one match remaining.
