We agree: there is no room for racism in Bermuda
Dear Sir,
In February 2017, almost four years ago to the day, the MP Derrick Burgess exclaimed that “the OBA are trying to distort the minds of people who don’t know any better”.
At that time, I thought that the remark was in fact quite disparaging, but nonetheless here we are today and not much has changed.
I would like to invite the honourable Mr Burgess to explain to people just how the Cannabis Licensing Act would allow the people to stop working so hard, maybe two jobs, three jobs, in order to have a decent standard of life in this country.
I am hoping that there is no distortion of the truth here, or that people don’t know any better.
Needless to say, I have no opinion on the passing or failing of any Cannabis Licensing Act. And, yes, Mr Burgess, I agree that there is no room for racism in Bermuda.
