Chance to savour a taste of Bermuda
The Bermuda Tourism Authority will shine a light on the island’s local food industry through the Bermuda Food Harvest Journey.
The event, held at The Loren, will be coordinated by eight “tastemakers” to offer a taste of the island.
Hors d’oeuvres will be crafted from ingredients such as Bermuda-sourced honey, locally-foraged plants and goat cheese created by Tucker’s Farm.
Bites will also be paired with cocktails and other drinks from the Goslings Company, the Bermuda Gin Company and On de Rock Craft Brewery.
Glenn Jones, the interim chief executive officer of the BTA, said: “’Freshly harvested’ and ‘locally made’ are phrases critical to a destination’s food culture.
“At the Bermuda Food Harvest Journey, we will have a hearty helping of both.
“I encourage everyone who cares about culinary to try this experiential journey at The Loren and then stay for dinner afterwards.”
Attendees will be split into five tasting groups to ensure that Covid-19 safety guideline are kept.
Ticket holders are also encouraged to extend their night with a dinner reservation at The Loren’s Pink Beach Club.
Tickets for the event on March 12, will be sold for $40 and can be purchased here.
