As the sun set over Hamilton Harbour a scene of sheer elegance and beauty permeated the atmosphere as Bermuda's newest fashion magazine was launched.

On Thursday evening editor Patrice Morgan, dressed in a mint and brown polka dot dress, unveiled Show Off magazine.

Fashion models wore clothing designed by Amethyst's H?O Spirit Wear Collection.

Members of the audience on seeing Bermuda's first fashion magazine said they "loved it", "it fits right into my pocket or purse", "it is professional" and "I would pay for it".

Editor Patrice Morgan said she was ecstatic that the magazine was finally out. "It makes it official," she said as she begins to work on the next issue of the magazine.

The 2,500 copies, which went on display on Friday, disappeared off the racks in less than 24 hours.
