Seminars for administrators
Administrative professionals will be able to brush up on their business skills thanks to a seminar held by motivational speaker Jan Fraser next week.
The two half-day seminars, which are recommended for administrative professionals, office receptionists, hotel front desk personnel, salon/spa coordinators, call centre professionals, and those in the restaurant and retail trade, will be held at the Chamber of Commerce, Albouy's Point in Front Street, Hamilton, with the first installment on April 20 and the second on April 23, both running from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
"Your administrative professional needs to be celebrated for all they do to hold your office together," said Ms Fraser.
"These two half-day seminars delivered on the Tuesday and Friday of Administrative Professionals Week will highlight their efforts and help them to succeed in their work and personal life. It will show them you care about them to invest in these events.
"An amazing administrative professional will not only keep your business running smoothly, but will strengthen internal and client relationships, and also build your business."
Attendees will learn about presenting themselves with a professional appearance, effective use of speech, improving their listening skills, business image on the telephone, effective and professional e-mails, handling difficult people and reducing stress.
