WASHINGTON (Bloomberg) ? Bunge Ltd., the world's biggest oilseed processor, said it will resume canola processing at its Hamilton, Ontario, plant, to meet demand from bio-fuel producers and from food companies looking for healthier vegetable oils.
The plant will be able to crush 240,000 metric tons of canola a year, once modifications are completed in December, 2007, White Plains, New York-based Bunge said yesterday in a statement. The plant will continue to process soybeans.
