The Progressive Labour Party this morning issued details on the vote held at last night’s annual delegates conference, which saw party leader Marc Bean approved to continue as the Opposition head.

Shadow Finance Minister David Burt was voted Deputy Leader, with 76 votes to the 18 taken by fellow challenger Michael Weeks.

Maynard Dill continues to serve as party chairman. Outgoing Deputy Leader Derrick Burgess was thanked for his four years of service.
