*** Rock Ramblers, a local eco-cultural group, will hold an open ended informal ramble this weekend.
Participants for Sunday's ramble should meet in the parking lot of Modern Mart on South Shore Road in Paget at 8.45 a.m. for a 9 a.m. departure.
The approximately 2.5 mile route will take adventurers along the coast and railway trails of the South Shore.
Organisers recommend that walkers wear functional walking shoes and bring along snack food, a beverage, camera or binoculars and a small garbage bag for trash enroute.
Each ramble benefits a different environmental/cultural service or organisation and this month's recipient will be the Hands of Love Mission.
A voluntary contribution, of around $2, will be gratefully accepted at the starting point.
