Police accompanied family of missing Rudy Smith to a derelict North Shore residence last night — but rumours of a body discovered on the premises turned out to be a false alarm.A flurry of activity shortly before 7pm at the property, just west of the Mid-Atlantic Boat Club, turned up “nothing of note”, a police spokesman said.The disappearance of Mr Smith, last seen on July 9, has been investigated as a murder since August 10.
