Bermuda at a farewell concert this weekend. He has chosen songs by Schumann and Ralph Vaughan Williams for this special appearance. Holt, who caused something of a musical sensation when he led the New York cast in the rousing finale of `Oklahoma' in the first `Broadway in Bermuda' concert, will also be remembered for his performance as the Count in Joel Froomkin's production of Sondheim's `A Little Night Music' for this year's Bermuda Festival.
Since arriving in Bermuda three years ago, he has appeared with the BMDS, the Gilbert & Sullivan Society, and with the vocal harmony group Consorted Effort.
He is now returning home to the UK where he hopes to pursue a musical career.
`A Recital of Classical Songs' by Wayne Holt, accompanied by Susan Soehner, will take place at the Peace Lutheran Church in Paget on Saturday, October 11 at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
