Thieves broke into Dwayne's Barber Shop on Ewing Street in Hamilton and stole $85, Police said yesterday.

On Dundonald Street, thieves broke into Hair Designs and removed a cash register, then forced their way into the adjacent shop, Omar's Beauty Supplies, and stole $100.

There was also an attempted break-in to a home on Spring Benny Road in Sandys, Police said. The door was forced, but entry was not gained. Both the culprit and the occupant were disturbed when a dog barked.
