A woman returning to her home on North Terrace in Pembroke Saturday afternoon found the fly-screen missing from the kitchen window. She entered the house to find an intruder hiding in the bathroom.

Just after midnight on Sunday morning, a woman living on Hidden Lane in Pembroke saw someone opening the sliding door and enter the house.

The woman quickly went to alert her husband; the intruder grabbed her purse, and ran off with the husband in pursuit. The intruder jumped over two walls to escape. The purse was later found intact on the property.

Guests at an unspecified hotel in Paget awoke Saturday morning to find that someone had entered their room while they slept and stole about $300 from two wallets.

A house on Marsh Lane in Pembroke was broken into sometime Saturday afternoon, and an envelope containing $170 was taken from the owner's handbag.
