Chandris' Horizon departs tomorrow for San Juan, Puerto Rico where she will begin her winter season.

And on Friday, Bermuda will see the last of Royal Caribbean Cruise Line's Nordic Prince . Her departure for New York will mark the end of eight years working the Bermuda market.

The 637-foot ship has been one of the most stable industry performers averaging high volume occupancies among above-average income earners.

This week Nordic Prince called at her Front Street and St. George's berths with 995 passengers. The ship has a passenger capacity of 1,012.

Meyer Agencies said the Horizon carried 915 passengers. They were joined by 165 Bermudians for her southbound cruise.

Only two irregular calling ships will visit before the end of the year. The Royal Odyssey visits on Monday followed one week later by P&O's Sea Princess .

In other docks news, the Island's container ships are showing the first signs of retailers' increased orders.

Container Ship Management reported the Oleander in port on Sunday with 140 dry containers and 40 refrigerator containers, one container platform, a tractor and a boat. She left on Tuesday.

Meyer said the Bermuda Islander arrived in port on Monday with 73 dry containers, nine refrigerator containers and an eight-ton trash compactor. She began her return voyage to Salem, New Jersey on Tuesday.

The Emden was at Number 8 Shed on the weekend to discharge 100 cars and 35 cases of spare parts. She sailed on Sunday for Nassau.

The cement ship Margranel sailed in from Colombia on Saturday to deliver 3,774 tons of cement to the Bermuda Cement Company. She left her Dockyard berth on Monday to return to her home port of Baranquilla.
