Seven of Bermuda top young athletes head to Florida tomorrow for the Pam Am Junior Championships in Miramar.Bermuda's team's consists of Jeneko Place (100m, 200m and 4x100m), Jerquan Place (200m and 4x100m), Scott Clarke (100 and 4x100m), Bruce DeGrilla (long jump and 4x100m), Sahquille Dill (800m), Henry Stevens-Carty (800m) and Chas Smith (high jump and 4x100m).The team will be managed by Gina Evans and coached by Bill Euler and Xavier James.Bermuda Track and Field Association president, Donna Watson, said: “This is going to be a tough competition as the USA and Canada will be bringing their junior athletes to compete."I am sure our athletes will hold their own and hopefully Jeneko will be able to compete at 100 percent to end his season."
