People are now able to pay their HIP and FutureCare premiums online through Butterfield online banking.Announcing the move at a press conference, Health Minister Zane DeSilva said it should help those who find it inconvenient to pay in person. Online banking was previously available via HSBC and EasyPay.Mr DeSilva urged people to take care selecting the correct vendor name depending on the insurance plan, with payments due on the first day of each month.The Health Insurance Department will be sending out a letter to all policyholders on the new payment method with the July bills.For questions regarding premium payments call 295-9210 or visit www.hip.gov.bm.
