A group of Bermudian students were given a taste of the insurance industry at Allied World.The Swiss-based insurer hosted Bermuda Foundation for Insurance Studies (BFIS) students for the 2011 Intro-to-Insurance Summer Intern Programme.The six students spent the day at Allied World’s Bermuda office on Friday, May 27 shadowing the staff and learning more about re/insurance. Fifteen Allied World employees participated in the day with the students, including Frank D’Orazio, president of the Bermuda operations and international insurance.This is the eighth consecutive year that Allied World has participated in the programme.
