BAS gains 35 cents

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 8.95 points yesterday to close at 3,882.34.On a light day of trading on the Exchange, Bermuda Aviation Services gained 35 cents to close at $6.60 as investors traded in 7,600 shares.Bermuda Commercial Bank fell 45 cents to close at $9.50 on volume of 2,000 shares and Argus fell 25 cents to close at $13 as 3,500 shares changed hands.

The total value of the shares bought and sold on the BSX yesterday was $192,720 and the overall volume of shares was 14,488.
