Cycle rider banned
Police pulled him over in Paget for driving while disqualified.
Officers spotted Loving, 18, riding his motorcycle on Tankfield Hill at about 5.30 p.m. on February 14.
He confirmed to Police he was off the road, prosecutor Insp. Peter Duffy told Magistrates' Court.
Insp. Duffy said Loving had been disqualified from driving for six months just four days earlier for two counts of speeding at 63 kph.
He also had a conviction for driving in a dangerous manner.
Mr. Tim Marshall, representing Loving, said while he was irresponsible when it came to riding his bike, he had a steady job as an electrician's apprentice and was taking night college courses.
Both he and Loving's mother had explained to him a licence was a privilege, Mr. Marshall said.
Senior Magistrate the Wor. Will Francis fined him $400 and took him off the road for a further 12 months, saying he was "Bearing in mind your serious record for driving in such a short time.''
