Steve Easton

A contestant who says he is the "Just Do It" logo, said the most difficult part of the challenge was time.

"Just trying to finish up with clients to get to the gym in time," explained Lindo's 100 Day Challenge contestant Steve Easton.

"My business runs by schedule and sometimes someone breaks my scheduling and pushes my time to the limit, which has me cutting it pretty close."

He is working out six days a week at 90 minutes a time, so when asked if he was doing anything additional, he said: "Forty-five minutes to an hour walking mornings, weather permitting.

"Support has been great. Family and friends giving an encouraging word regularly and strangers telling you 'nope, you can't buy that item' in the supermarket."

Mr. Easton started the challenge weighing 219 and, as of the interview date, had lost ten pounds.

"I was surprised with the amount of body fat loss at 13.5 percent, but disappointed with the weight loss at the last weigh in 1.6 pounds - turns out I just had to adjust my insulin shots and the weight just came off in the last week.

"Thanks to Sarah McKittrick from the Diabetes Centrer for that tip!"

His clothing is loosening up a bit and he said he needed a new belt.

"I also have some smaller clothes in my closet for making that transition."

So what is the most important thing that Mr. Easton had gained in the past month-and-a-half?

"Persistence pays off. Just keep at it You'll have some ups and downs, but ultimately if you keep on the right path, you will see results."
